High quality computational integral imaging reconstruction using view synthesis rendering

Integral imaging is a promising technique for next generation 3DTV, but the limitation of reconstructed 3D image resolution is an important obstacle for its practical utilization. In this paper, we propose a new method to improve the definition of reconstructed 3D image by view synthesize method based on depth map rendering technique. Compare to the previous techniques, our method provides more accurate synthesized images which reproduce the 3D scene with enhanced viewing quality.
