A new H2 gain scheduling controller for rational LPV systems

This note deals with the design of H2 gain scheduled controllers for Linear Parameter Varying (LPV) systems with rational dependence on the varying parameters. Firstly, new sufficient LMI-based conditions for H2 performance analysis are proposed based on an equivalent affine descriptor LPV system. Accordingly, new LMI conditions for the H2 gain scheduled controller synthesis problem are proposed. Finally, a numerical example highlights the effectiveness of the proposed conditions.
